A hole in one with out a witness is nothing but a rumour. You know but no one else does. An official hole in one must occur with a minimum of one witness in a regulation 18 hole round at a regulation golf course.
Then again if you make a hole in one on your first shot on that hole (no mulligans) you can celebrate with yourself and be proud. Don’t tell anybody or you would be duty bound to buy a round of drinks in the club house.

The only one saw it wont be as special if you were the only one and you got hole in one but it wont be as special if you were the only one there.
