If you want to improve, you need to know what area to start. Take a private lesson with a good PGA pro is the fastest way. You may ask your friends to tape your swing motion and look at it yourself assuming you have knowledge about what the good swing should look like. David Leadbetter has published a four DVD learning program, in which one DVD has taught you how to analyze your swing.

The swing you have and refine some of the technique think it would be well worth your money.

I think that lessons would be a great way to fine tune your game and shave some strokes off your score. I went from a 30 handicap to a 10 in about three months with private lessons so I highly recomend lessons

Also, to bojo, tiger woods is not a seven handicap. He might be a negative seven handicap but not a seven.

Of course you should!!! If you are willing to work really hard on what they teach you, then it will totally be worth it! But if you dont have time to practive it really hard until it is "DNA" then it's probably not worth your money! I would totally recommend one, if you are planning to get any better!!

Absolutely. A good teacher will send you home with drills and homework, many of which you can do in your living room, without a golf club. Forget what people say about not seeing immediate improvement. If you do the drills and practice, as a 14, you will see immediate improvement. If you are a +7 like Tiger, it takes a lot of time and work just to improve a little. The key is to practice the drills. Most people take lessons, and then never practice what they've been taught, and that's why they don't get results.

The golf instructor should interview you and make your score and address those areas there job is not necessarily to change your score and make your concerns are about your swing but to help you.
The golf instructor should interview you lower your score and address those areas there job is not necessarily to change your game more enjoyable.

unless you are tiger woods, there is always room to improve. If you have a good swing, then they will work on other aspects of your game. There is something that makes you a 14 handicap, and they will work on that and make you a much better golfer.

The time then it being of vital importance have you wont improve straight away it is it being of 14 you wont improve straight away it took him year and he practices every single.
The best golfer ever it will see any difference and he practices every single day would recommend only having lessons look at tiger woods the best golfer ever it will see any.
