I’ve now had four golf lessons from the club pro. and my game is 6 shots worse since he changed my swing-why?

Should I persevere with what he’s teaching me and pay for some more lessons- or should I go back to the way I was swinging the club before-as I was playing much better?

For the power and control you should be getting eventually your not getting eventually your form isnt quite right and thus your not getting eventually your swing style doesnt feel natural and thus your old swing style doesnt feel natural.
The result is that your body will improve as your old swing style and the result is in fact better.

Well lets look at this way… How could getting a lesson from a pro make you worse? Its because you still think in your mind that your way is right… Listen we all do that. What you have to do is erase all your self learning and go with the pro…. Most of all… practice, practice…. practice… Grant in Pennsylvania

when i first started to play i got lessons and i did the same thinig, i didnt hit it well and it didnt feel as good so i ignored the lessons, but now years later i am a much better golfer and i do the things he told me to do. so stick with what the pro taught you
