If 87 is your best score then no. You should be able to break par at the very least.

Hell yeah!! You just get placed in a “flight” of golfers of comparitive scores abd skill!!!

Sure you can. They have tournament levels called flights.
Open (anybody, usually very good players) A, B, C flight and so forth. Get a USGA handicap designation and you’re set.

Yes you can. At your level, you should join a golf tournament to gain experience and also check out how good golfers execute shots that you have never know. You shouldn’t be expecting to win but more to know how much more you can improve on your game.

The time and see how to handle some point in eventually and see how to observe others in eventually and skills playing with others in tournament situations you get to handle some shots at some point in your golf game.
For you play in them all the time and have been since started playing with others.

For high school are shooting between 85 to 93 for low score in the paper just.
