How to know If you have what it takes to succeed in golf?

Hi,
I have been playing golf since highschool, which is when i really got into it. My passion for the game has increased 10 fold. That said I have never taken a lesson and at max play about 10 9 hole rounds a year which is really low. That said I have gone out and shot in the high 70s a few times. Every time i go out with my father people tell him I have a beautiful swing. I am 6 feet tall and about 165, currently I’m working on my strength portion of my game. Hands down I would like to know if I indeed have the potential to follow my golf dream. What would be the best method to finding this out?? Would it be to go to a top golf instructor?

The truth spend few times to major golf course where there is an instructor he can make it ps play on an instructor he can make it ps play on other.

Try entering some local tourn. and get some feed back on how you play, then proceed to better compitition tourn. and so on till you reach your goals.

The planet your odds arent good unless you should go pro yet any pga coach will tell you keep falling in love with golf being one of the only thing you are less then few.
