Golf lessons in Winter?

1. Since I live in CT and I probably won’t be able to get on an actuall driving range for a few more months should I just wait until then to get lessons?
2. I’m not a total newbie, I’ve golfed before but I know my posture, swing, and grip need a lot of help. So…. how many lessons do people typically pay get? 3? 6?

For ithowever remember unless you lot of good that would probably require more money for additional simulator time its all worth it lol.
