I’d like to take a 3-hour golf lesson for $100. It’s like a winter special at our driving range.

An hour and you want to tip him.

The pro and he would not expect one however if you were pleased with his lessons you could buy merchandise from him to show your appreciation.

no rules about this. it depends on the situation. sometimes buying coffee and bringing it to lessons is pretty much appreciated by these pros, who have back to back sessions during peak times.
