How can I become a playing golf Professional?

My handicap is 12 and I have recently started lessons and have a new swing - with this help I think I shall be able to get down to around 4 in the summer as I will be able to play at least 2-3 times a weeks. Basically what do I need to do so I can become a playing professional golfer? I enjoy the game and improve everytime I play. I am in the UK so there seem less opertunities to become professional so does anyone know what I should do? Thanks for all the help.
